Music

PianoThe ministry of music at Dunn’s Corners Community Church is central to the life of the congregation. We seek to glorify God by using our gifts to worship, praise, and celebrate God. Musical offerings are vibrant and diverse as are our participants. Singers, ringers, and instrumentalists deepen their relationship with God and with one another. All who have a willing heart to serve the Lord through music have a place in the music ministry at Dunn’s Corners. To participate in any of the ensembles, please contact Worship and Music Arts Director Andy Wallace.

Chancel Choir The Chancel Choir is the primary musical ensemble of Dunn’s Corners Community Church providing weekly leadership during worship. It’s role is to lead and encourage congregational singing and to present anthem offerings that inspire singers and listeners alike. Each week the Chancel Choir brings their message of music to the 10 am worship service. The choir sings a wide variety of sacred selections. Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 pm

Glory Ringers The adult handbell choir is quite active in the worship life of the church and plays lively musical offerings at least once each month. We are blessed with a beautiful five-octave set of both Malmark handbells and Choir Chimes. The ability to read music is necessary to jump into the ensemble as we regularly play HMA Level 3-4 arrangements. Beginners are welcome to receive ringing lessons and basic music education and join the ensemble to ring Level 1-2 arrangements when comfortable. Rehearsals: Thursdays, 5:45-7:00 pm.
