In the Bible, there are many instances of the word “Spirit.”  We will look at the meaning and use of spirit in the history of Israel and the Prophets and Psalms, in the life of Jesus in the Gospels, and in the writings of the New Testament, and in the theology of the Christian Church.

This is a wide scope, so this will be rather an overview of how the idea of spirit developed and the various uses of the word in the Bible. We will also discuss the idea and impact of “spirit” in our lives.

All are welcome to attend.
