EASTER EGG HUNT Saturday, April 13 at 1pm
Sew Good Souls is starting up again in 2019 to make sundresses (Saturdays, January 19, February 2, and March 2); quilts (Saturdays, April 6, May 4 and 18); and small kennel quilts (that can be made at home) to be distributed to those in need. We have a goal to have our quilt show in June to display our work before these items travel to their new destinations.
Please come and join in the fun and creative work to help fulfill our mission. Questions? Please reach out to Lois Gardner, Jane Larkin or Yvette Drurey. We are in the Church Directory!
Please join us for a Pancake Breakfast on the second Saturday of each month, from 8 to 10am. The next breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 13th.
There is no charge but donations will be gratefully accepted to provide funds for the local Family Housing Support. Working in collaboration with the WARM Center, we provide emergency housing to meet the most basic needs of families with children.
The Mission Committee of Dunn’s Corners Church hosts a Pancake Breakfast on the second Saturday of each month.
Breakfasts are also held the Third Saturday of each month from 8 to 10am at Babcock Presbyterian Church, 25 Maxson Street, Ashaway.
Following up on our successful overview of the Bible last year with the Disciple Bible Study, we will be doing year 2 in the Disciple Bible Study. The title of this year’s study is Into the Word…Into the World.
The Old Testament study will focus on Genesis and Exodus, the first two books in the Bible. When we get to the New Testament study after Christmas we will focus on the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts.
Participants in the Disciple Bible Study purchase a $35 study guide and spend time each week in personal study and reflection. We then gather together for additional teaching and study of the daily readings.
Once again we will offer a Tuesday morning class from 9:00 to 11:00 am and a Wednesday evening class from 7:15 to 8:30 pm. Signup for Disciple Bible Study by calling the church office at 401-322-0655 or emailing the Church Office at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are interested and have questions, please contact Pastor Wayne.
All are welcome to attend.
